We're headquartered in "Riviera Club" Studio, Connecticut. Neither a Club nor the Riviera, it's an English Bloomsbury and Parisian Place de Vosges garden by the beach, but it's actually more like a Jacques Tati movie ! The Riviera Club of my childhood in Indianapolis has big playful swimming pools with giant slides ("trust the French to put a wiggle in it" Mahtin says). Miles Davis played at West Lake, Indianapolis, with my trumpeter dad Harry's band in the 1940's.

New Haven the arts city is nearby, Louise and Harry are in West Hartford. Louise exhibited her crocheted Shirret technique and rugs around New England for 20 years.

Harry makes the hooks, and all products except English wool come from America.

I'm proud of my mother's achievements, as one of the first 'Little Orphan' Annies on the radio, and as a Big Band vocalist, then as book reviewer, then as author and originator of The Art of Shirret. She was a pink-wearing feminist, happiest amidst literary and needle artists.

Thank you for the opportunity to share her remarkable body of work so you can be inspired AND buy supplies.
